What happens when you create an account
When you sign up, ONCHAIN® automatically creates:
Your ONCHAIN® Account (the smart account that manages your history and settings)
An embedded wallet you can use immediately
Your address book, where you can add external wallets
Your transaction history, which stores all completed orders
You don’t need to install anything or configure a wallet to begin.
How to create an ONCHAIN® Account
You can create your account in two ways:
1. From a token page
If you attempt to buy a token without being signed in, ONCHAIN® will prompt you to create an account. Just enter your email and follow the on-screen steps.
2. From onchain.money
You can also sign up directly by selecting Sign In and entering your email. A magic link will be sent to your inbox to verify your session.
Do I need an account to buy tokens?
Yes. An ONCHAIN® Account is required to complete purchases so ONCHAIN® can:
Deliver assets to your embedded or external wallet
Track your order history
Apply Smart Guardrails correctly
Handle KYC if required for your first qualified purchase
