Fees depend on your payment method, the asset/network, and real-time network conditions. You’ll always see an itemized estimate before you confirm.
What fees can apply
ONCHAIN® fee: 0.75%
Processor fees (Paybis): ONCHAIN® leverages Paybis for payments processing. Learn more in Paybis’ official explainer here.
Blockchain network fees (“gas”): Paid directly to the blockchain, not to ONCHAIN®. Gas shifts with demand and the chain you’re using (e.g., Ethereum, especially, can spike during congestion).
External costs you might see
Your card issuer may add costs on crypto purchases, such as cash-advance fees and currency conversion/FX fees. These are set by your bank/card provider and can meaningfully change the final amount.
Some costs come from your bank or card issuer, not ONCHAIN® or Paybis. Examples include cash-advance fees and currency conversion/FX fees. These vary by provider, so check directly with your bank for exact details.
Why your total can change
Asset & chain: Some networks cost more to use than others.
Timing: Heavy activity increases gas.
Payment method & issuer: Card networks and banks may add their own fees or FX.
Where you’ll see fees
A clear breakdown appears in the buy flow before payment. If network conditions shift while you’re reviewing, the quote updates before you confirm.
The example above is for illustration only. Actual fees are shown during checkout.
If something looks off
Refresh the quote after a minute—gas can move quickly.
Try again at a less busy time or (when available) choose the same asset on a lower-fee chain.
